Prilly Latuconsina, Salaya Yacht, and Jejakin Partner to Begin Measuring Carbon Emissions from Yacht Journeys

Company News and Updates

This collaboration is marked by the signing of a commitment agreement and an initial contribution of planting 200 mangrove trees as a symbol of the partnership’s commitment to promoting more responsible marine tourism.

Jakarta, May 26, 2026 – Prilly Latuconsina, through Salaya Yacht, her marine tourism business venture, has signed a collaboration commitment with Jejakin to begin building a yachting experience that is more conscious of its carbon footprint.

As a climate technology company, Jejakin provides data-driven solutions that help companies, organizations, and individuals understand and manage carbon emissions in a more measurable and transparent manner. Through this collaboration, Jejakin will support Salaya Yacht in calculating carbon emissions generated from yacht travel activities as an initial step toward understanding environmental impacts through a data-based approach.

For Prilly, this collaboration represents part of Salaya Yacht’s journey as a business that not only offers beautiful experiences at sea but also begins to consider its responsibility for environmental impacts. As a public figure and entrepreneur closely connected to the ocean, Prilly aims to bring sustainability conversations into a more concrete space—not merely as a claim, but as something that can be measured, monitored, and acted upon.

From Conversation to Commitment

This collaboration began with conversations in the digital space and gradually evolved into deeper discussions about how technology can help businesses and lifestyles become more aware of the carbon emissions they generate.

Prior to signing this commitment, Prilly also visited Jejakin’s office to gain firsthand insight into how carbon accounting is applied in environmental impact measurement, monitoring, and reporting.

During the visit, the carbon emissions generated from Prilly’s journey to Jejakin’s office were calculated using Jejakin’s carbon accounting platform and subsequently compensated through support for cashew tree planting in Yogyakarta. The growth and development of the trees can also be publicly monitored through Jejakin’s platform.

The experience further strengthened discussions around how sustainability should not stop at measurement but can be translated into tangible action. From there, the conversation evolved into a shared vision between Jejakin and Prilly to create more initiatives that deliver meaningful environmental and social impact.

What makes this collaboration interesting is that it all started from a simple conversation. From curiosity and discussion, it eventually grew into a commitment to create a more meaningful impact. We believe sustainability action can start anywhere, including through cross-industry and community collaborations that may not have been widely connected before, said Arfan Alanda, Founder & CEO of Jejakin.
For me, loving the ocean also means being willing to take responsibility for how we enjoy it. Through Salaya Yacht, I want the yachting experience to be more than just something beautiful. This collaboration with Jejakin is a first step toward measuring, monitoring, and following up on the carbon footprint generated by Salaya Yacht’s journeys, said Prilly Latuconsina.

Measuring Emissions, Creating Impact

As a form of commitment and accountability for the carbon emissions generated, all emissions from travel and activities related to the MoU signing agenda were calculated using Jejakin’s carbon accounting platform.

These emissions were then compensated through support for planting 200 mangrove trees on Pulau Pramuka, Thousand Islands. The program is projected to absorb up to 1,803.63 kgCO₂e over the next three years.

Beyond contributing to carbon sequestration, this initiative also supports coastal ecosystem protection and provides economic benefits to surrounding communities.

A First Step Toward More Responsible Marine Tourism

For Jejakin and Prilly, this collaboration marks the beginning of a series of sustainability initiatives to be carried out together, focusing on creating broader environmental and social impact through the involvement of businesses, communities, and society.

Amid growing public attention toward both public figures and sustainability issues, Jejakin and Prilly hope to demonstrate that sustainability commitments can begin with simple actions and evolve into initiatives that generate meaningful impact for the environment.
