Jejakin and CIMB Niaga Launch GreenBizReady to Drive Business Transformation Toward a Low Carbon Economy with CarbonIQ

Jejakin collaborated with PT Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk (CIMB Niaga) to launch GreenBizReady, a platform that helps business actors both SMEs and corporates to start and accelerate the transition toward sustainable business.

This collaboration presents CarbonIQ by Jejakin as the main platform for emission calculation for business actors who join GreenBizReady. CarbonIQ is a digital solution that enables companies to measure, monitor, and manage their carbon emissions comprehensively in accordance with global standards such as GHG Protocol and ISO 14064. With a data driven approach, CarbonIQ helps businesses understand the sources of emissions across the entire value chain, from operations and energy to logistics activities and product consumption.

GreenBizReady was developed as a one stop sustainability ecosystem to accelerate the sustainability efforts of CIMB Niaga customers. This is realized through providing access to various services ranging from carbon footprint measurement, sustainability consulting, to sustainability performance based financing such as Sustainability Linked Loan (SLL).

Emission data obtained through CarbonIQ becomes an important reference for companies to understand their baseline carbon emissions, set emission reduction targets, validate sustainability achievements, as well as obtain financing incentives from CIMB Niaga.

According to Arfan Arlanda, Founder and CEO of Jejakin, the step taken by CIMB Niaga in implementing a data based and globally standardized emission reporting system is an important milestone for the financial sector in supporting the transition toward a low carbon economy in Indonesia.
